Minggu Muzik Malaysia’s Battle of Talents May Make You RM15,000 Richer!

Take your musical talents to the stage and stand a chance to win RM15,000 in the inaugural Minggu Muzik Malaysia week-long celebration of music in Kuala Lumpur between 9 and 15 September 2019.

The concert’s Battle of Talents is open to Malaysians, performing solo or a maximum of seven band members.

The first round of auditions is set for 17th to 24th August 2019 where participants will perform either an original song in any genre or cover a Malaysian number.

The bands will be judged on performance, music arrangement, music composition, audience engagement and appearance.

Participants who make it to the Grand Final will perform at the Minggu Muzik Malaysia concert, belting out an original song and a cover of a Malaysian song.

The best part is, finalists get to share the stage with household names like Ayda Jebat, Dennis Lau, Ella, Faizal Tahir, Fuying and Sam, Hujan, Priscilla Abby and Rabbit Mac.

The concert aims to connect people, brands and businesses in the good faith of creating stronger support for one another through music.

Organising chairman Sylvester Fan says: “The local music industry is challenging for artists to gain recognition because there are limited platforms to connect them with the people,” adding that the concert could serve as a sustainable platform to connect people and businesses which everyone can benefit from.
